An Orthodox Christian Life

Father Christ Ministries Trust is a self-supporting Orthodox Christian ministry, structured lawfully as a 508(c)(1)(A) religious trust. Our life and labor are dedicated to serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and preserving the fullness of the Orthodox faith in a world increasingly detached from it.

Our mission is to glorify God by reviving the ancient rhythm of Orthodox Christian life — through prayer, hospitality, obedience, and charity — grounded in the sacred traditions of the Church and free from dependency on secular institutions. All that we do flows from the spiritual life: house prayers offered daily, the building of a private chapel, the offering of meals and housing to pilgrims, and financial support to holy monasteries like Panagia Prousiotissa.

We believe in ministering not through spectacle, but through quiet faithfulness. We labor to support Orthodox monasticism, strengthen spiritual formation, and equip faithful stewards who seek to walk the narrow path of salvation in their daily lives. At the heart of everything we do is the love of Christ, the ascetic wisdom of the Holy Fathers, and the unbroken continuity of Orthodox Christian tradition.

We invite you to learn more, support our mission, or join us in this sacred work of renewal and witness.

“The goal of this life is to prepare our soul so that it may become pleasing to Christ.” – St. Ephraim of Arizona

Panagia Prousiotissa – A Sacred Arrival in Troy, NC

Panagia Prousiotissa (“Lady of Proussa”) is a revered 9th-century wonderworking icon of the Mother of God, originally revealed in a cave amid the iconoclast persecutions in Proussa (modern-day Turkey). Over centuries, it has become a symbol of healing, protection, and God’s comforting presence .

In late June 2008, clergy from the original Greek monastery and the Metropolis of Karpenisi brought the only known accurate replica of this miraculous icon to the United States. It was lovingly enshrined at the Panagia Prousiotissa Monastery in Troy, NC, where it has remained ever since.

Today, our canonically blessed replica sits in Troy, offering pilgrims and the faithful a sacred space to venerate, pray, and receive spiritual healing. Enshrined in our Delaware-inspired hospitality house, it connects us deeply to the ancient monastic tradition and the living presence of the Theotokos.
